Caffey’s Disease —
– Self limiting disorder
– Most commonly involves Mandible
– Mainly seen in Infants
– Hyperostosis + Diffuse Diaphyseal Periostitis ( Doubling of width of the bone ) + Soft Tissue Nodules
– Triad –> Cortical Bone Thickening + Painful Soft Tissue Swelling + Systemic features ( Fever )
– Usually mimics Osteomyelitis
– Mainly treated by NSAIDS
